Merry Christmas from the Eynons!

Happy holidays everyone!  We hope you all are enjoying a fun and festive holiday season.

A quick update from us.

We are now settled back in Amsterdam after a whirlwind summer of selling everything in California and having to find a new place to live in Holland on short notice.  Good news - we bought a house, transplanted our cat, received our shipment from California, and are well on our way to redoing the yard in our new house.

Alex continues to thrive at the international school.  He has friends from France, Germany, Korea and Italy.  This fall he played football (soccer) and ran cross country for his school.  That meant traveling to places like Luxembourg and Brussels for games and meets.  In his cross country championship he ran against ten schools including Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, Paris and Bonn.  It was quite the experience.

Mike and Laura are meeting lots of Dutch people and expats which has been super fun.

We’ve continued to travel a bunch including to places like India, Madeira (Portugal), Austria (Alex for a school ski trip), Paris, Croatia, and Montenegro.  Being so close to everything makes travel so much easier!

Alex will be doing all of high school here, so that means we’ll be in Amsterdam through June of 2030.
