Cross country season has officially started here. As a reminder, there are about 30 kids on the team - grades 5th through 12th. There are only 3 kids in 7th grade.

Alex is the blond kid in the back of the group who is kneeling (grey t-shirt).

The first meet is in Dusseldorf in a couple of weeks. Then there is an overnight in Luxembourg - the kids stay in a hostel. Our friends Susan and Greg will be here that weekend and we're excited to do a roadtrip down to Luxembourg to see Alex run.

Alex is in the grey t-shirt.

Then there will be two meets in Brussels (at two different schools) two weekends in a row.

Finally, the end of season meet will be here in Amsterdam.

It should be super fun!

Alex is on the left.

It has been hot (85 farenheit), but today it started getting a bit cooler (69). I think we're past the hot part. We did have to buy Alex some running shirts and tights. The coach was very clear. "We run in ALL weather." (Except lightning.)
